Graduation Ceremony Checklist (SIP)

To Do List

Generally, before your ceremony begins, you need to complete the following tasks

• Graduation and Guest Ticket Collection (Registration Desk, Ground Floor, IA Building)
• Graduation Information Registration (Ground Floor, IA Building)
  • Graduation Brochure(e-copy)
  • Alumni card (digital)
• Deposit Payment & Academic Gown Collection (Ground Floor, IA Building)

When collecting academic gown, a deposit is required: 264 RMB for UG students, 318 RMB for PG students and 403 RMB for PhD students. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the gown.

 If there is any damage or missing components, corresponding deductions will be made from the deposit according to the specified price list before the remaining amount is refunded.

Before attending the ceremony, please make sure you are dressed appropriately:

(The graduation ceremonies are formal occasions and it is respectfully requested that graduands dress appropriately for the occasion. Suggestion for appropriate attire underneath academic gown would be a lounge suit, shirt and tie, or a skirt/trousers and shirt/blouse.)

• Arrive at the Ceremony Hall (Room G13W, Central Building)

Make sure you will arrive at the Ceremony Hall at around 7:30am for morning ceremony and 12:30pm for afternoon ceremony, and take the right seats.

After the ceremony, you will need to:

• Return Academic Dress (Ground Floor, IA Building)

Return all of your academic dress set before 5:00pm on Friday 31 July 2026 so that you can collect your deposit back.

• Download Group Photo and Recorded Ceremony Video

Once available, the download link will be distributed to graduates by email from the Graduation Ceremony Team. Kindly monitor your mailbox for the message.
