Ready to TELL, School of Languages’ dynamic platform committed to advancing Technology-Enhanced Language Learning (TELL), is delighted to unveil two collections this May: the AI Agents Collection and the much-anticipated 2025 Collection. Scan the below QR Code for reading.
The AI Agents Collection represents a significant stride in the integration of artificial intelligence within the language classroom. Developed in collaboration with staff from the School of Languages at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), the collection showcases innovative uses of the XIPU AI Agent. From personalised learning journeys to energised classroom interaction, contributors explore how technology can be woven meaningfully into pedagogy. The results are both cutting-edge and pedagogically sound.
Equally exciting is the launch of the 2025 Collection, which brings together four vibrant activities designed to invigorate language instruction. Featuring tools such as H5P, Baamboozle, the AWL Word Finder, and ClassPoint, this collection highlights creative strategies that boost student engagement and improve learning outcomes. It offers practical, classroom-tested resources ready to be adopted by teachers worldwide.
In addition to these releases, Ready to TELL is now actively seeking submissions for its growing catalogue of collections. Educators are invited to contribute under four tracks:
- Annual Collections
- AI Agents
- AI Powered Teaching
- AI Prompt Bank
Teachers with innovative ideas or successful classroom practices are encouraged to get in touch with the Ready to TELL team
(readytotell@xjtlu.edu.cn), who are always keen to collaborate. Details about the submission process and current collections can be found on the Ready to TELL website.
