IBSS BA Accounting Programme Awarded Five-Year Re-accreditation by CPA Australia

International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), part of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), has announced that its BA Accounting programme has been awarded a further five-year re-accreditation by CPA Australia, extending the accreditation period extended until 2030. This achievement highlights the programme's international-level educational quality and overall strength.

Founded in 1886, CPA Australia is one of the world's largest and most prestigious professional accounting bodies. It has more than 175,000 members in over 100 countries and regions, with over 28,000 members holding leadership and senior management positions. The organisation is committed to providing a platform for knowledge exchange, supporting the development of professional networks, and actively promoting the value of Certified Practising Accountants to diverse stakeholders including employers, governments, regulatory authorities and the wider public.

Ms Zhiying Huang, who oversaw the accreditation process, commented: "XJTLU's BA accounting programme has long maintained a leading position in China. CPA Australia has launched a 2026 Special Scholarship Programme specifically for IBSS students. Year 4 students on this programme are eligible for exemption from all four foundation courses out of the ten required for the CPA Australia qualification (with all exemption-related feed waived), and may also apply for the "2026 Scholarship Programme" (with application dates to be announced separately).
