Team Introduction
They joined X3 Co-Venture in November 2023 and officially signed the Pre-Incubation Agreement on 7th May 2024 with 3 core members with 1 from AIAC and 2 from IFB. The team focuses on developing an accessibility online platform for the hearing-impaired, which includes features such as sign language translation, navigation, safety alerts for travel, and interactive functions. Their product Silent Partner is an intelligent online platform facilitating mutual translation between sign language and vocal sound while Silent E-shoes is a safety warning shoe for the hearing impaired to reduce travel safety issues.
Application Scenarios
Currently, they are focusing on establishing a sign language data base; upgrading the web by integrating the silent partner and silent e-shoes develop an accessible platform for the hearing impaired; Training and debugging integrated chips for “silent e-shoes”. Also, they want to attend more cooperative project to kickstart their business and are actively seeking opportunities to secure funding by investing.
In October, 2024, they have been maintaining deep cooperation and technological communication another XCV team project – Limitless Mind on the technology part.
Support from X³ Co-venture
With support and guidance from academic and industry mentors of X3 Co-Venture and the BD team of XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang) has helped to facilitate connections with government resources like local Disabled Persons’ Federations, gathering valuable perspectives from the hearing-impaired community.
Future Development
This innovation programme has won many prizes. For example, they got the first prize in 2023 “Co-Creating the Future · Innovation Conference” National Finals, and the first place in XJTLU Global “Dream-Chasers” Entrepreneurial Competition. More importantly, our project really helps the hearing impaired, so that they can better integrate into society and enjoy equal communication and life. This sense of achievement is unmatched by any award. In addition, benefitting from this programme, their CTO, Haoqi Hu, an undergraduate student from School of AI and Advanced Computing, XJTLU in 2020, who has studied on Brain Auditory Direction MPhil led by Haizhou Li, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
