There has been a growing success of the international Deep Brain Stimulation Society after the foundation in 2022, celebrated with the 30th anniversary of subthalamic nucleus Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) in Grenoble in 2023. On behalf of the DBS Society and the local organizing committee in China, it is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to the first “Interim Conference of the DBS Society” in Suzhou, China. This remarkable event will take place at the Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University on October 18-19, 2025.
This Interim Conference of the DBS Society will be a unique opportunity for international and local experts to meet and discuss about the scientific development of DBS, which has revolutionized the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and other neurological and psychiatric disorders.
All attendees are invited and encouraged to play an active role in this conference by interacting with the faculty members and the DBS community, immerging in a cohesive and stimulating scientific environment. The overarching theme of the meeting will be “Translational Deep Brain Stimulation: Building bridges between Neuroscience and Clinic”. You are invited to submit your abstracts for poster presentations.
