XJTLU-Baidu PaddlePaddle Developer Group Programme

The AOA joined forces with Baidu to officially launch the Baidu PaddlePaddle Developer Group Programme in November 2024 – an innovative community dedicated to AI enthusiasts on campus. This student organisation, built around the Baidu PaddlePaddle platform and the ERNIE large model, serves as a central hub for AI enthusiasts and actively fosters an AI innovation ecosystem for students across the university.

Activity Resources

The Developer Group Programme is committed to providing on-campus developers with a series of high-quality free educational resources, technical exchange activities, and innovation competitions. The programme offers a diverse range of activities, including professional training, technical salons, company visits, and creative competitions, all designed to enrich students’ experiences. Through a wealth of online AI course resources, the programme helps bridge the gap between theory and practice, deepening students’ professional knowledge. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers, expand their professional networks, stay updated on industry trends, and prepare for future careers.

Innovation Competitions

The PaddlePaddle Developer Group Programme will organise on-campus AI knowledge contests and AI technology challenges, providing students with a platform to showcase their technical skills and innovative capabilities. Outstanding participants will have the opportunity to be selected for national-level competition training camps and AI student and professional development camps, enabling them to achieve comprehensive growth in technical expertise. Additionally, the campus AI Day and exclusive exhibition areas at the Baidu WAVE SUMMIT will offer valuable opportunities for students with AI aspirations to showcase their talents, helping them shine on a broader stage.
