Chinese Language Summer School
Course Delivery
Date: 6th to 31st July 2026
Level: Beginner to advanced level
Schedule: 3 hours’ standard class per weekday, 5 days a week: 60 hours in total
Additional cultural workshops, intangible cultural heritage lectures, and optional field trips bring extra enjoyment and cultural understanding throughout the course.
Class sizes start at five students.

- Make progress in Chinese language listening and speaking skills
- Build confidence in using the Chinese language in real-life situations

Fees
XJTLU offer a good range of scholarships and discounts for students who are interested in our four-week summer course:

| 100% fee waiver | Students pre-enrolled (deposit paid) on UG (Bachelor’s degree) /PG (Master’s degree, PhD) programmes with a September 2026 start |
| -40% | Students recommended by XJTLU partners (not included in exchange quota) |
| -20% | – Current/Past XJTLU students (from all UG/PG/short-term programmes) – XJTLU Staff and family/partners |
| Early Bird discount | Apply before 17th April 2025– receive 20% discount |
*Only one discount or the scholarship can be applied to per applicant.

The deadline for applications is 11 May 2025. The payment deadline is 19 May 2025.
