Childhood self-control predicts physical health, substance dependence, personal finances, and criminal offending outcomes.
Speaker
Jeong Jin Yu, Professor of Department of Education Studies, AoFE, XJTLU, international expert on family education with deep research on the role of father in the family. Professor Yu is from South Korea. Before joining XJTLU, he worked in Universities in the United States, South Korea, Australia and Sweden. His research results have been widely cited in Google Scholar. His main research interests include the relationship between children and adolescents and others (such as parents, siblings, peers, teachers); Self systems of children and adolescents (e.g. self-esteem, self-control, self-criticism, body image); Family dynamics, etc.
