Abstract

When a one-dimensional interacting particle system is in a state with two constant configurations of different types at two ends, the interval of mixed types in between is called its interface. In this talk, we will introduce a biased voter model, where there is a bias towards one of the two types in contrast to the classic unbiased voter model. We will show that under suitable assumptions, the biased voter model exhibits interface tightness, and moreover, the rescaled interface boundary converges to a Brownian motion. This is a joint work with Rongfeng Sun and Jan M. Swart.
