In this seminar, Dr. Yi Zou will share his sabbatical experience at Yale university.

Speaker

Dr Yi Zou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Environmental Sciences at the School of Science, XJTLU. He is an ecologist and entomologist studying conservation biology, landscape ecology and ecosystem services in agricultural and urban ecosystems. Before joining XJTLU in 2016, Dr. Zou completed his Master’s study at Lancaster University (UK), PhD at University College London (UK), and Postdoc at Wageningen University (Netherlands). He is particularly interested in how changing landscapes affect arthropod diversity, pollination, and biological pest control services. His research interests also include effectively measuring biodiversity at different dimensions by mathematical models.
