A total of 1,305 students at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University will receive academic scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year as approved by the XJTLU Scholarship Committee in August 2022.
The University offers Progression Scholarships and Continuing Academic Merit Scholarships (previously called Retention of Entry Scholarships) to students based on their academic performance in the previous academic year.
The Progression Scholarship is further divided into two categories: University Academic Excellence Award and University Academic Achievement Award.
Students in the top 5% of the programme cohort receive a University Academic Excellence Award of 10,000 RMB. Students in the top 5.1%-10% of the programme cohort receive a University Academic Achievement Award of 5,000 RMB.
In both cases, students must also have achieved an overall average mark of 65%.
Continuing Academic Merit Scholarships are awarded to those who received Entry Scholarships or Retention of Entry Scholarships in 2021-2022, if they continue to rank in the top 25% of the programme cohort in 2021-2022 and have achieved an overall average mark of 60%.
XJTLU’s Registry Office is pleased to announce that this year, 594 students received the University Academic Excellence Award, 590 students the University Academic Achievement Award and 121 students the Continuing Academic Merit Scholarship.
