To enrich IBSS students’ learning experience and help them prepare for the future Final Year Project as well as future learning in the business and management fields, the IBL program organized a research-oriented workshop given by on Dr. Xinyi Zhou from SMO, IBSS on 19th April. The workshop is about the Introduction of Quantitative Research, which offered students a general sense of what is quantitative research and how to write a quantitative research paper. The second and third-year students attended this workshop, and they gave favorable comments to this learning opportunity.

The International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR)’s 10th biennial meeting has taken place from June 14th to 18th, 2023 in Hong Kong, China, hosted by Hong Kong Baptist University. The theme of the 2023 IACMR is Globalization in Flux: China and the World. A group of academic staff and Ph.D. students from SMO, IBSS attended the conference to share their latest research on Chinese management and organizations under continuous change in globalization, with a focus on exploring new concepts, theories and examining empirical findings in rigorous and creative ways.
