International Business School Suzhou at XJTLU was enlightened to have been invited by Huawei to visit its Suzhou Research Center. The tour to the company’s 5G+XtoB joint innovation lab showed multiple ways in which solutions based on cutting-edge ICT innovations could accelerate the digital transformation of industries. Experts at Huawei provided an impressive presentation of how, together with its industry partners, the telecoms giant is able to combine 5G and a range of connectivity techs to realize smart industrial control, IoT, visual detection, as well as positioning and inspection. Visits like this not only offered comprehensive insight into the frontlines of digital transformation, but also gave participants a sneak peak into the latest happenings of technology vis-à-vis business, and where the most exciting applications are and will be taking place.
