UG Summer Research Mobility Program with Taylors' University

We hope you are doing well and enjoying your semester!

Our School of Science (SCI) is pleased to announce the launch of our XJTLU UG Student Summer Research Mobility Program with our partner, Taylors’ University (TU) in Malaysia.

About Taylor's University

Description

This program is designed to provide a highly selective and competitive, small group of our SCI Year 2 and Year 3 undergraduate students an exceptional experience to participate in five outstanding research mobility opportunities at Taylors’ University (Malaysia), this upcoming summer from 21 July to 31 Aug 2024 (6 weeks). It serves as part of our strong international partnership with Taylor's University.

Eligibility

SCI Year 2 and Year 3 undergraduate students majored in Biological Science and Bioinformatics, who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and are strongly interested in the proposed research project(s) are eligible to apply. However, due to the potential time conflicts, "2+2" program students need to carefully consider the timelines before applying.

Application process and deadline

Please submit your CV together with your Cover Letter/Letter of Interest as it relates to your selected research project(s) to Science.Research@xjtlu.edu.cn by 11:59 pm April 11th, 2024.

Selection processes

The selection process will be conducted immediately by the program committee, and the selection results will be announced by April 15th, 2024.

Visa and Accommodation

Taylors’ University global office will help apply for the visa and arrange accommodations nearby the university for the highly selected SCI students during the Summer Research Mobility Program period. Estimated cost per student are as follows: Visa cost 153 RMB; twin sharing room 1530 RMB/month. Estimated cost per student is approximately 2,448 RMB (6 weeks).
