【Event Review】The School of Cultural Technology Student Exhibition: EXPERIMENTA 24

03 Jun 2024

The School of Cultural Technology (SCT) recently hosted "Experimenta 24," a showcase of innovative installations by sophomore students from the CAT105 module. Held in Building G from May 24th to 27th, the exhibition brought together seven captivating works that skillfully blended digital and physical elements.

These installations served as a testament to the student's artistic talent and the culmination of their year-long learning journey. Interactive elements, light and shadow effects, virtual reality experiences, multimedia presentations, and sculptures that merged digital design with traditional craftsmanship, offered diverse artistic encounters for visitors.

Earlier in the semester, the same cohort, led by Mr Kim Lau, Dr Luciano Zubillaga (himself a selected artist at the Shanghai Biennale, one of Asia's most prestigious art shows), had the enriching opportunity to visit the Biennale.
"Experimenta 24" provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity, exchange ideas, and add vibrancy to campus life. The SCT remains committed to fostering such initiatives that stimulate exploration and innovation in its students.
