Dr.Chiachi Chang’s research paper was accepted by the Journal of Global Information Management

Dr. Chiachi Chang’s research paper, coauthored with Prof. Eddy Fang from IBSS, XJTLU, was recently accepted by the Journal of Global Information Management (JGIM). The Journal of Global Information Management provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to share leading-edge knowledge in the global information resource management area. Playing a pivotal role in the discussion of the organizational applications and managerial implications of information resource management technologies, JGIM’s contributors include a growing list of 2,400+ industry-leading experts, making the scope and breadth of the research diverse as it provides solutions to concepts like reengineering, rightsizing, network organizations, and the virtual corporation.

Dr. Chiachi Chang received his PhD degree from the Department of Management at the London School of Economics (LSE) in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining XJTLU, he was a teaching fellow for the Organizational Behavior course in the Department of Management at LSE. The modules he has taught at XJTLU include Leadership, Performance Management, Organizational Behavior, People Management, etc., and he also engaged in various executive education programs for managerial psychology and emotional intelligence for managers. Furthermore, he was awarded as Outstanding Teacher by Teaching Excellence Award in IBSS.

The research interest of Dr. Chiachi Chang is employee psychology in the employee-organization relationship. His primary focus is psychological contract and how it can influence employee behavioral outcomes. Furthermore, from the perspective of clinical and health psychology, he explored how the employee-organization relationship can shape the employee’s health outcomes. He has published journal papers in the Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Motivation and Emotion, and Personnel Review. He also contributed to the Handbook of Industrial, Work, and Organizational Psychology as well as the Oxford Handbook of Organizational Citizenship Behavior. As for academic conferences, he has presented at top conferences such as the Academy of Management Conference and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Conference. In addition to academic engagement, Dr. Chiachi Chang is a Certified Clinical Psychologist with experience in individual psychotherapy (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapeutic Approach) and psychological assessment. Furthermore, he has served as the Deputy Program Director of MSc in Management at IBSS since 2018.
