The Centre has secured over 30 national- and provincial-level research projects, including the National Key R&D Programme, National Science and Technology Major Projects, and NSFC General, Joint Fund, and Young Scientists projects. These projects cover embodied AI, intelligent automation, micro- and nanosensing, biomedical detection, semiconductors, and intelligent instrumentation. The Centre has also undertaken multiple industry-funded projects, published high-quality research, and generated patents and technology-transfer outcomes. Its research-led education has enabled outstanding undergraduate students to progress directly to fully funded PhD programmes.
