The Department of Mechatronics and Robotics aims to educate our students in the area of robotics and mechatronics, enabling them to become critical thinkers and problem-solvers with global vision and professional knowledge in the field. We are committed to research and teaching excellence in field knowledge, and wider transferable skills in communications, teamwork, organisational awareness and project management. Our goal is for students to be able to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of employers both within and outside the specialised sector.

Our staff members are highly qualified, with diverse international experience, recognised in a number of research areas as well as for their teaching and knowledge transfer abilities. Our strong research background enhances the quality of education, exposing our students to the latest cutting-edge knowledge in the field.
