Ingeborg de Roode (1962) has been the industrial design curator at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam since 2001. She organized many exhibitions such as Marcel Wanders. Pinned Up (2014), Living in the Amsterdam School. Designs for the Interior 1910-1930 (2016), Solution or Utopia? Design for Refugees (2017), Studio Drift. Coded Nature (2018, together with Pao Lien Djie), and It’s Our F***ing Backyard. Designing Material Futures (2022, together with Amanda Pinatih).
Publications and interviews
Ingeborg de Roode wrote for the Dutch financial newspaper about design between 1990 and 2004. Besides many articles and catalogues for the Netherlands Textile Museum (1993-2001) and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, she wrote for publications of the MoMA, New York, Centre Pompidou, Paris, and Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein, among others. She is currently preparing an article about the possibility of using the creativity of designers for solving complex societal problems.

Professor
Daan van Eijk is chair professor in Industrial Design Engineering at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He has been working for ± 15 years in the Industrial Design practice and since 2004 in his current position. His focus is on integrating Human, Technology and Business aspects into product service systems.
Van Eijk is known as a connector of industry, knowledge institutes and governmental organizations. He is a driving force in empowering the design sector through networking, knowledge development and education.
He serves as the University representative for the World Design Organisation and the Cumulus Global Association for Art & Design Education. For the last 30 years he has been a regular visitor to East-Asia. https://www.tudelft.nl/en/
