Profile

Dr. Yonto received his Ph.D. in Geography and Urban Regional Analysis from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. Before he joined XJTLU, he was a geography instructor in the Department of Geography at The University of Alabama and a geography instructor in the Department of Geology and Geography at Georgia Southern University.

Dr. Yonto is a broadly trained human geography whose research focuses on the spatial and temporal aspects of neighborhood change. His next project explores the dynamic changes occurring in Southeast Asia's urban and peri-urban areas.
