Gabriela Mogos PhD

Associate professor

Gabriela Mogos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computing, School of Advanced Technology at the Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), Suzhou, China.

She received her PhD in Computer Science from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. She followed this with postdoctoral research position at the University of Oradea, Romania.
Her research interests are in the areas of Quantum cryptography, Cybersecurity and Information Security, and are driven by a strong desire to bridge computer science and quantum physics, to design new quantum cryptographic protocols, and, to embed quantum-safe equipment in large networks.

We are looking for a research assistant to join our project in quantum computing (to start in January 2024).
The successful candidate will work on applications for quantum image processing, quantum machine learning and quantum simulation.
Position requirements:
- Good knowledge of mathematics.
- Prior experience in ML/DL.
- Familiarity with Python programming.
- Fast learner, able to work independently.
