Guoxia Han PhD

Senior Associate Professor

Dr Han obtained his PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of Arizona in Tucson, USA. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the asymmetric synthesis using auxiliary (chemical approach) or enzyme (biocatalytic approach, also Green Chemistry). Many chiral intermediates have been manufactured using his discovered pathway. He also has 23 years' experience in the hybrid-peptide drug and diagnostic reagents design and synthesis using specialized asymmetric amino acids, peptides. Some of the candidates already entered clinical trials.
