UK degrees are three years long whereas in China they are four, therefore we do accept students with certain qualifications directly into Year Two, which is the start of the main academic programme. Most students, however, enter into Year One, which provides you with a range of interesting modules, language classes and core skills for your degree.

In this Marketing programme, we are are encouraged to research, brainstorm in teams, create proposals, and pitch to panels just like you would in a real marketing agency. The courses are challenging and often exciting. I also get the opportunity to network with incredible people from around the world.

Career choices in marketing are many and varied, since virtually every type of organisation interacts with customers. Our marketing graduates are represented at world-leading advertising/public relations firms, media and publication companies, consulting firms, health-care organisations, pharmaceutical/chemical companies, retailers and wholesalers, equipment manufacturers, financial services, investments, insurances, colleges, and universities. Many marketing graduates take a different path and progress on to postgraduate studies, notably at prestigious universities and institutions around the world such as Imperial College London, London School of Economics and Political Science, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, University College London, University of Sydney, and Parsons School of Design.
Overview
As the interface between the organisation and customers, marketing plays a vital role in the success of business and nonprofit settings. It encompasses all activities related to the creation, communication, and delivery of customer value.
The BA Marketing programme is designed to balance fundamentals with innovative ideas and practical skills and to improve leadership and confidence that enable students to succeed in marketing and the wider business world. By fostering a collaborative environment among scholars, students and marketing professionals with diverse backgrounds, our programme prepares students for careers in professional sales, corporate retailing, advertising, brand management, marketing consulting, and international marketing.
The BA Marketing programme is delivered in the International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), one of an elite group of institutions worldwide to be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). Currently, less than 100 business schools worldwide have both AACSB and EQUIS accreditations.
