Abstract
School of Film and TV Arts will hold an online Sharing Session “Academic Talk” on October 20, 2021 (Wednesday) at 15:00.
We invited SoFTA academic staff Bing Li, to share an introduction to filmmaking, the beauty, the power of cinematic storytelling and why SoFTA is the right place for you, based on the topic "Why Study Filmmaking & TV Production？".
We welcome all students to participate in this online TALK and communicate with us online!
Speaker: Bing Li
Bing is a graduate of the AFI Screenwriting Program. He has worked in both feature and documentary filmmaking after attending Northern Film School in UK. As a writer-director, his films have been screened internationally and won the best documentary film in China; his screenplays have made into prestigious screenplay contests such as Final Draft Quarterfinals, Diverse Voices Semifinals in US, top 4% of BBC Drama in UK and 2020 Excellent Screenplay Award in China's Taiwan. Bing is interested in the variety of human life, particularly in storytelling of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
