3D printing technology, which uses adhesive materials such as powdered metals or plastics, based on unique digital model files, to construct objects by precisely printing them layer by layer, has become an integral part of modern manufacturing and innovative design. On Friday, 10th May 2024, XJTLU's International Innovation Hub hosted an Innovation Factory Open Day to experience the the wonderful world of 3D printing and learn about its potential. In this Innovation Factory Open Day , participants will have the opportunity to have an in-depth experience of 3D printing technology using a 3D printing pen. During the event, we will discuss the impact of parameter settings on print quality and help each participant understand how fine-tuning can optimize print results. In addition, the event also covers the preparation work before 3D model printing, details of printer operation, and the complete process from digital model to physical print. Under the guidance of professional instructors, participants will complete the 3D printed key chain with their own hands. Let's explore the marvellous world of 3D printing and feel its infinite possibilities in this event!
