The Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Museum (XJTLU Museum) has always been committed to exploring the creative possibilities in designing and making cultural crafts, inspired by the artistic elements of East and West, as well as the cultural identities associated with our campus. The Museum has released seven collections of cultural crafts with great fanfare amongst students and visitors, including the hand-drawn cultural map of XJTLU, postcards, and Guan Xiaobo note holders.
In particular, the “Craftsman – Novelty” collection was jointly designed by the Museum and Suzhou Culture and Arts Masters Studio, which combined XJTLU’s unique campus culture with local art traditions, taking innovative artistic design to a new level.
At the same time, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of XJTLU, Museum cooperated with China Post to customize XJTLU limited edition personalized souvenir covers and commemorative stamps to show XJTLU’s innovative approach to higher education development.
