Exhibition 201: A Showcase From ATE students

January 01, 2023

On November 30, 2022, The School of Cultural Technology held the Exhibition 201. The exhibition was a showcase of our senior students from BA in Art, Technology and Entertainment, directed by our program director Andrew O’Dowd and module leader Gabriele Aroni. It included a collection of our students’ creative practices exploring artificial intelligence-driven art, installation art, game design, device art, and sculpture. The students explained each group of works in both Chinese and English, from the inspiration of the design to the meaning of the work. The exhibition was attended by students and faculty members, with our Dean Alvaro Collar and most of the professors present. The exhibition was very lively, and there was a lot of laughter. It was also a good example of the diversity of the college that has emerged under the university’s inclusive education policy, and an excellent demonstration of the infinite possibilities of our academic crossover. At the same time, the senior students also played a good role as an example to show their enthusiasm for their major to the sophomore students.
