The programme talk of SoFTA was a great success. Through this event, students gained a deeper understanding of the characteristics and admission requirements of the school's programmes.

In addition to the school-level sharing sessions, various programmes in the School hold professional sharing sessions in full swing. Immediately after the school programme talk, a graduate experience-sharing session for Filmmaking was successfully held.

At this event, three outstanding graduates from Filmmaking shared their experiences in studying at the SoFTA, applying for prestigious universities at home and abroad, studying abroad experiences, and their future career planning. Their sharing triggered a warm response from the audience on site.

Binzhi Zhang, a 2022 graduate from the Filmmaking programme, relied on his outstanding graduation work experience in University College London's documentary programme to give people an intuitive understanding of his growth and progress in the film field. His sharing focused on studying and living in London, a world film and media art centre, providing valuable study abroad experiences for Y1 students.

Chunyuan Zheng is also from the 2022 Filmmaking and has been admitted as a graduate student in the directing department at Beijing Film Academy. Based on his graduation work experience and experience studying in Beijing, he talked about his exploration and growth on the road to becoming a director. His sharing showed how to study and practice at the Beijing Film Academy.

Xi Gong is a 2023 graduate of Filmmaking and has been admitted as a graduate student in film production at the University of Southern California. Her sharing mainly focused on her graduation work experience and her experience at USC. Her sharing revealed a path to one of the world's top film schools for Y1 students.

This event provided valuable advice for younger students on programme studies, applying to prestigious universities, and a platform for graduates to showcase their achievements. The three graduates' wonderful sharing fully demonstrated their growth and harvest in the SoFTA and their confidence and ardour for the future.

This event was undoubtedly a successful experience exchange and inheritance that not only closed the distance between younger students and outstanding graduates but also provided guidance for them in their future studies and careers.

The School of Film and TV Arts will hold more sharing sessions, screenings, building tours, etc. All XJTLU students are welcome to participate. Please follow the SoFTA official WeChat account for timely updates on school information and event previews.
