X-Pixel is an automated Perler bead production system. It converts images into bead patterns and uses a three-axis robotic arm to arrange multicolour beads efficiently and accurately.
How it is being developed:
The project integrates software and hardware. A web platform processes images and generates coordinates, while Raspberry Pi, ESP32, a three-axis robotic arm, an automatic feeding system, and photoelectric sensors control bead placement and calibration.
Expected outcome:
The expected outcome is a functional X-Pixel prototype supporting image import, pattern editing, automatic feeding and colour changing, multicolour bead placement, status monitoring, and error calibration.
