Video: Study abroad can lead to personal growth

More than 30 partner universities answered students' questions about studying abroad at the 2019 Study Abroad Fair held at XJTLU last month.
According to Professor Stuart Perrin, associate principal of the XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang), study abroad provides an opportunity for personal growth and development of a global outlook.
“A study abroad experience in another country and another culture, not only will help you in terms of your future career prospects, but also help you to develop as an individual,” he said.
“Study abroad is an exciting way to become global citizens.”
Professor Igea Troiani, dean of international affairs at XJTLU, noted that students can also take advantage of opportunities to build social networks.
“It is a great opportunity for students to expand themselves socially as well as academically, to build networks and friends, partners for the rest of your life,” she said.
