39th XJTLU Board of Directors meeting held at XJTU

The 39th Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Board of Directors meeting was successfully held at XJTLU’s parent university, Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), on 26 July. All the Board members were present at the meeting.
A number of proposals were approved at the meeting.
The Board approved the appointment of Professor Jun Hong, Vice President of XJTU, as the new Chair of Board of Directors. The Board also approved the appointment of two new Board members, Professor Zhiwei Shan, Assistant President of XJTU, and Professor Wenhua Shan, Assistant President of XJTU, replacing the previous two Board members from XJTU.
The Board approved XJTLU’s 10-year financial budget and the annual nomination of XJTLU Honours.
A number of items including the accomplishments of the University’s Leadership Agenda for the 22/23 academic year, student recruitment and admission, and university operation and development of XJTLU were reported to the Board.
