Registry Office

The Registry Office operates and supports the university’s core learning and teaching activities. It is pivotal in ensuring smooth academic operations, enriching the student learning experience, and promoting the data-driven decision-making process.

Key responsibilities

  • Administers the student records from enrolment to graduation. Key responsibilities include new student enrolment, annual registration, registration status change, attendance management, tuition fee and academic scholarship management, academic progression and awards processing, and the issuance of official transcripts, enrollment certificates and degree certificates, etc.
  • Responsible for university curriculum operations, including management of Undergraduate programme choice and transfer policies and procedures; support and maintenance of official records for the academic implementation of programme and module specifications; coordination of the university class timetables, and student timetable personalisation services.
  • Organises the administration of final examinations and resits, and handles cases of academic integrity and misconduct, mitigating circumstances, and assessment appeals.
  • Facilitates student academic events, including Undergraduate Students Induction and Academic Bridging, Academic Fair, and study route choice, etc.
  • Responsible for student academic information and oversees the operations, development, and ongoing enhancement of the e-Bridge online portal.
  • Addresses daily academic enquiries from students and staff, providing timely support and guidance.
