Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University established the Suzhou Municipal Key Lab of Supply Chain Excellence in 2008 to gain a foothold on the national and regional economic and social development strategies and to conduct deeper research in modern supply chain theory. The Laboratory focuses on green and sustainable supply chains, supply chain network optimisation, intelligent logistics and supply chain finance and strives to combine theory with practice that will contribute to the economic and social development of society, especially in the Yangtze Delta area in China.
