The Department has a record of successfully attracting funding from various local, provincial, national, and international sources, such as the European Union and National Natural Science Foundation of China. We have also collaborated with industry for practical projects, contributing to the community and bringing hands-on experience to our staff and students. We have collaborators in China as well as across Asia, Europe and North America.
We engage our students in research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and under the supervision of our staff, our students have published their research outcomes. Our PhD programme gives suitably-qualified students the chance to address important problems and challenges in computing.
