The International Joint Frontiers Materials Research Lab is a tripartite collaboration between the School of Science at XJTLU, Pusan National University (PNU) in South Korea and the Yangtze River Delta Carbon Fiber and Composite Technology Innovation Center (CCIC) in China.
In the 21st century, frontier materials science stands at the forefront of innovation and discovery. This newly established research laboratory aims to address global needs, from solving energy crises to developing cutting-edge technologies to improve everyday life. The need for frontier materials is critical, requiring pooled resources, partnerships of bright minds, and bridges across cultures. Through this international laboratory, XJTLU and CICC are committed to providing the necessary resources for cross-border collaborations, training and supervising the next generation of young scientists globally and fostering an international community of research excellence.
The laboratory creates an environment where researchers are supported to challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of discovery in frontier materials science, contributing to a sustainable and prosperous future for society.
