Outstanding Member of CERNET
Under the leadership of the Jiangsu Education Management Information Center, the informatization construction of colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province has developed rapidly. To further promote the development and application of CERNET and encourage mutual progress across Jiangsu members, the Northeast China Regional Network Center of CERNET, based on various statistics and summaries, rated XJTLU as an outstanding member. This is a reflection of XJTLU's exceptional contributions in 2022, including promoting the application of the education network, the construction of urban nodes of the education network, the provision of shared resources of the education network, the voluntary service of other member units, the advice and suggestions for the education network.
the First University in China to Pass DCMM Level 3 Evaluation
To realize the entire life cycle management and unified service of data and maximize the value of data assets, XJTLU has started a series of data management work adhering to the national DCMM standard since 2019. This year, MITS applied to the DCMM standard implementation evaluations in Jiangsu Province, becoming the first university in China to pass the DCMM level 3 (steady) standard. Complying with the standard improves the university's data management capabilities and facilitates solving problems over data quality, data security, data integration and sharing, and data visualization.
2020 Excellent University Award for Smart Campus Construction
In January 2021, the Digital Campus Committee of Suzhou Computer Society awarded XJTLU the 2020 Excellent University Award for Smart Campus Construction. In 2020, while affected by the global spread of COVID-19. The management Information Technology and Systems Office (MITS) and Center of Educational Technology (CET) submitted XJTLU's unified online and Hyflex learning and teaching solutions collaboratively. Their efforts towards upgrading and optimizing the Learning Mall Online, Mediasite, BigBlueButton, and other platforms, have guaranteed that online and offline teaching activities across campus will continue throughout the Academic Year. In 2021, MITS will further strengthen campus information security, Hyflex learning and teaching, Taicang Campus, and Learning Mall technical support, optimize customer service procedures, promote university campus information construction and education, and support research with solid technical support.
