Russian high school explores collaboration with XJTLU

A delegation from the Russian School of Young Politicians 1306 visited the Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University recently to enhance international cooperation and bilateral collaboration between the two institutions.

Earlier this year, during a visit to Russia, Professor Qiuling Chao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Information at XJTLU, met with representatives from the School of Young Politicians 1306. This follow-up visit was led by Angelina Aleksandrovna Bochkova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, and included Natalia Shariakova, geography teacher, and nine students from the school.

The School of Young Politicians 1306 is Russia’s sole provider of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, offering IB courses to local students. The school’s curriculum aligns with XJTLU’s international student recruitment strategy.

In the future, the School of Young Politicians 1306 will actively promote XJTLU’s degree and non-degree programmes, including short and summer courses, on its campus.

On the same visit, accompanied by and introduced through XJTLU, the School of Young Politicians 1306 visited the Suzhou Dulwich International School to explore educational exchange opportunities.
