Eco-Collaboration Programmes

XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang)Industry Education  Centre partnered with two leading German companies – TRUMPF (China) Co., Ltd. and Brose Group – to co‑organise a Youth Summer Elite Camp. The programme brought together more than 60 children of employees to experience the innovative environment of XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang). Through a diverse range of practical activities, learning was engagingly combined with fun, encouraging participants to explore new knowledge and fields boldly, integrate what they learned to create something new, and strive to become globally‑minded industry leaders who will steer future industrial development. This collaborative model of shared integration between the university and enterprises demonstrates how strong partnerships between higher education and leading businesses can fulfil their social responsibilities as educational institutions and advanced corporations, working together to foster better community development.

Six MBA students and two faculty mentors from Dominican University of California completed a one‑week joint study tour programme at XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang). The programme adopted an innovative format of “theoretical learning + corporate visits + cultural immersion”: participants attended specialised courses and case discussions on campus; visited high‑tech enterprises in Suzhou and Taicang to gain an in‑depth understanding of China’s industrial landscape; and experienced China’s profound traditional culture and modern urban vitality through tours of Suzhou’s classical gardens, Hangzhou’s West Lake, and Shanghai’s historic towns and the Bund. Through its multifaceted design, this study tour not only provided the American participants with first‑hand insights into China, but also presented an authentic, multidimensional and comprehensive image of China to the international community.

40 EMBA participants from FIA Business School in Brazil visited XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang) for a Syntegrative study tour themed “Exploring Smart Manufacturing and Decoding Cross‑border Innovation”. The programme adopted an innovative format of “corporate visits + classroom seminars + campus experience”: participants observed industrial robots and automation systems at the Shanghai Fanuc smart factory, gaining in depth insights into the digital transformation of China’s manufacturing sector; on campus, Associate Professor of Practice Joseph Seet from XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang) analysed the logic of “guanxi” (relationships) and the art of negotiation in Chinese business culture through his own case studies, while Dr Wang Yicheng from the School of Intelligent Finance and Business demonstrated how AI Agent can compress cross border compliance decision making from days to just five minutes, vividly illustrating how Chinese innovation is reshaping global business rules. This study tour provided Brazilian business leaders with first hand perspectives on China’s smart manufacturing and innovation ecosystem, and the real world cases and cutting edge technology demonstrations left a lasting impression on the participants.
