Our research aims to develop cutting-edge solutions to real-world problems through investigating rigorous theory and applied approaches. The staff publish high-quality academic papers working in collaboration with other schools, institutions and industrial partners.

Our School has a long history of cooperating with enterprises, such as China Unicom, Apple, Nokia, State Grid, HUAWEI, Microsoft, IBM, Lego and Apple. To further support these efforts, the School has established the Industrial Advisory Committee, which aims to strengthen the development of the discipline, teaching, scientific research and school-enterprise cooperation. In addition, student internship programmes established by the School provide students with practical experience and enhance their employment competitiveness, and support research in key areas.
