Jinglu Song PhD

Associate Professor

Jinglu Song is currently an associate professor of Urban Planning and Design Department at XJTLU. She achieved her PhD degree from the Department of Geography and Resource Management in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has also been a research associate in Hong Kong University and Hong Kong Baptist University, as well as a visiting scholar in Princeton University. Her fields of expertise involve the geographic information systems, urban planning and sustainability science. Most currently, she is concerned more about urban resilience to natural disasters and climate change, environmental science and public health as well. Candidates are welcomed to pursue the Ph.D. degree under her supervision. Specific research areas of interest for potential candidates include but not limited to disaster resilience, environmental science and public health, GIS application in sustainable urban planning.
