Key: GCED Hub_2026
The Global Citizenship Education (GCED) programme is dedicated to providing students with transformative growth opportunities that broaden their perspectives, sharpen critical thinking, and empower them to address global challenges constructively. Through experiential learning, cross-cultural exchange, and reflective practice, GCED offers a unique platform for students to engage deeply with global issues and develop essential competencies. Grounded in the principles of inclusion and collaboration, we empower students to become responsible global citizens who contribute to a sustainable and interconnected future.
Through a dynamic mix of online and on-campus activities, GCED helps students cultivate cross-cultural understanding, critical thinking, and global awareness, fostering responsible global citizenship within a diverse and inclusive environment. Our initiatives include the GCED Hub, an online learning and interactive platform; regular International Café sessions; themed cultural celebrations such as Africa Day and Latin America Day; and engaging interactive events like the cross-cultural Treasure Hunt.
Our Projects
International Café
The International Café is a unique forum where international and domestic students come together for meaningful conversations on a wide range of topics. It is a space to share experiences, insights, and perspectives, fostering mutual understanding within our diverse student community.
To date, we have successfully hosted over ten sessions, each centred on a different theme—such as cross-cultural communication, interpersonal relationships, humour across cultures, and a sustainable future. Through guest sharing, group discussions, and scenario-based activities, the Café creates a relaxed and open atmosphere that encourages deep exchange and lively dialogue between domestic and international students.
