Prior to joining XJTLU, she served as an assistant research professor at East China Normal University.
Dr. Zhang also once collaborated with industry giants like Tencent and iFlytek, leading projects on AI in education. She has co-founded two companies and currently consults for several domestic start-ups. For six years, Dr. Zhang successfully and continuously organised the Venture Contest for International Entrepreneurs in Ireland, significantly enhancing technological exchange and cooperation between China and Ireland.

Jia Jiang
Jia Jiang, a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, graduated from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Materials Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University in 2008. She is a professor-level senior engineer and has been recognized as a Chongqing Golden Phoenix Outstanding Talent. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Director of the Materials Academy, JITRI, overseeing education and talent-related work. With the goal of “cultivating innovative talents for industrial development through deep integration of industry, academia, and research; and promoting deep integration of industry, academia, and research by jointly cultivating innovative talents with enterprises and universities,” she has established a new “non-full-process, industry-education integration” model for cultivating innovative talents in education. She has collaborated with over 20 universities, including Tsinghua University and Chongqing University, to jointly cultivate more than 600 graduate and undergraduate students as part of the Jitri program.

Richard Wu is the General Manager of SainiTe Software Technology in Greater China, he is an expert with profound expertise in the importation of industrial application software and the design and implementation of comprehensive solutions. He is proficient in cutting-edge technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence, computer vision, automation, and digital twins, and has accumulated over 10 years of experience in the operation and management of multinational corporations. Zuraidah Sulaiman
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zuraidah Sulaiman is a Certified Professional Marketer (CPM) accredited by Asia Marketing Federation (AMF). She is an interdisciplinary researcher and educator at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) specialising in consumer behaviour and decision-making within digital, social media, green, and sustainable contexts. She holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Sydney, Australia, and earlier qualifications in IT from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and University College London (UCL), UK. Dr Zuraidah gained industry experience at Honda Malaysia before joining academia. At UTM, she lectures and supervises students, as well as leads market research, consultancy, and community projects. She has served as Visiting and Adjunct Professor at business faculties in Brunei and Indonesia, and as General Manager of the UTM Souvenir Shop. Qiang liu, CEO & CTO of Suzhou Shidong Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, a Master’s degree in Microelectronics from Peking University, a Ph.D. from the Photonics Center at the University of Cambridge, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the field of biomedical micro-robotics at Stanford University School of Medicine. Mr. Shengyan Tao is a director and head of M&A business of INVESTARGET. Mr. Tao has served as Vice President of Investment Banking Department of Daiwa Securities, Strategic Planning of Finance Department of Fortune 500 multinational enterprises, and backbone of the Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association Association. He is also an external mentor of Xijiao Liverpool University, a judge of the 2024 Global University Alumni Science and Innovation Competition, and a judge of the 3rd Shaanxi Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

Zuraidah Sulaiman
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zuraidah Sulaiman is a Certified Professional Marketer (CPM) accredited by Asia Marketing Federation (AMF). She is an interdisciplinary researcher and educator at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) specialising in consumer behaviour and decision-making within digital, social media, green, and sustainable contexts. She holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Sydney, Australia, and earlier qualifications in IT from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and University College London (UCL), UK. Dr Zuraidah gained industry experience at Honda Malaysia before joining academia. At UTM, she lectures and supervises students, as well as leads market research, consultancy, and community projects. She has served as Visiting and Adjunct Professor at business faculties in Brunei and Indonesia, and as General Manager of the UTM Souvenir Shop. Currently, she is Director of the Marketing and Entrepreneurship Department UTM, Deputy Head of Sustainability Management Research Group (SMRG UTM), and Associate Research Fellow at Sultan Iskandar Institute (ISI UTM), focusing on ESG initiatives. Dr Zuraidah is also a frequent speaker, mentor, facilitator, and judge at global events.
Noraindah Abdullah Fahim
Dr. Noraindah Abdullah Fahim is a seasoned trainer, academician, and expert in entrepreneurship education with over 15 years of experience. She specialises in guiding aspiring young entrepreneurs to develop innovative business ideas and practical strategies for growth. As a lecturer in the Faculty of Management, Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and University Coordinator for Entrepreneurship Courses, Dr. Noraindah has mentored students in navigating challenges, identifying opportunities, and excels in entrepreneurship competitions locally and internationally. Her passion for entrepreneurship extends to empowering others and fostering sustainable business practices. With a focus on innovation, business impact, and strategic growth, Dr. Noraindah brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insights, making her a key advocate for entrepreneurial development and success.
Muhammad Ateeq
Dr Muhammad Ateeq – Chartered Engineer (CEng – UK Engineering Council)
Ateeq is the Director of Innovation Factory and an Associate Professor at the School of Internet of Things (IoT), XEC, XJTLU. As a technologist and engineer with experience of collaborating and working closely with over 100 companies (SMEs and large organisations such as Siemens Plc., Shell Global, Sensor City), 20+ universities in the UK, as well as teaching and mentoring entrepreneurs and engineers, he has vast understanding of technological innovation, product development and its commercialisation. Ateeq’s key research expertise and interests include Industry 4.0 technologies, sensor technologies and industrial microwave technologies. He is a registered and recognised Professional Registration (PR) Mentor, Assessor, Advisor, and Professional Review Interviewer for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), United Kingdom. Ateeq has over 13 years of experience in Higher Education and Further Education sectors.
Qiang Liu
Qiang liu, CEO & CTO of Suzhou Shidong Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, a Master’s degree in Microelectronics from Peking University, a Ph.D. from the Photonics Center at the University of Cambridge, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the field of biomedical micro-robotics at Stanford University School of Medicine. He has previously worked at the Second Academy of Aerospace. Dr. Liu Qiang’s academic and research journey spans across mechanical engineering, electrical machine design, motor drive, semiconductor processes, and bio-human interaction. He is committed to deeply integrating the most advanced mechanical design, MEMS sensors, control algorithms, computer vision, and mixed reality technologies to provide motion solutions.
Rong Gu
Mr. Gu Rong has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Wuhan University and a Master’s degree in Physics from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris. He has served as co-founder of Wuhan Eastlake High-tech Development Zone startups, investment manager of Qingke Angel Fund, senior investment manager of Hangshi Group-Hangshi Capital Management, and deputy director of Tang Xing Capital.
Mikhail Zenchenkov
Directing and providing strategic and operational leadership of the X3 Co-Venture startup Hub. Collaborating with university leadership team, government bodies, investors, external ecosystem partners and the entrepreneurial community to facilitate the growth and success of startups.Dr Mikhail has led two international startup accelerators as a program director, helping early stage founders to become fully ready for the next step in the company’s growth, – connecting with mentors, investors, industry leaders and designing custom built acceleration programs. In the last 3 years alone he has helped and advised over 25 early stage teams in IoT, robotics, food tech, edu tech, med/bio tech, hardware, blockchain, metaverse/web3, fintech selected from over 2000 applications. Through his career Mikhail has worked in Russia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India in academia, corporate, government and startup ecosystem spaces, leading and promoting entrepreneurship agendas. Joe Lo Ying Tuan
Dr Joe Lo Ying Tuan is the Undergraduate Director and Assistant Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong–Liverpool University. Joe holds a first-class honours degree in Marketing from the University of Technology Malaysia, at which he later attained his PhD in Management.Before making his mark at XJTLU, Joe carved his path of excellence as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southampton Malaysia, where he also led the Business Foundation Year.

Throughout many years, he has accumulated valuable experience inboth industry and academia, allowing him to bridge the gap between theoreticaknowledge and real-world application, Currently, he leads cybersecurity initiativesat Applus+ Laboratories (Shanghai) as Technical Excellence Director, providingexpert consulting,evaluations, and training to clients globally. As an AssistantProfessor at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU, China), he has designedand delivered innovative courses on secure coding practices (CERT) and codinginterview techniques, fostering student success in the competitive tech landscapeHis commitment to professional development ensures that he remains at theforefront of industry best practices.
Jie Zhang
Mr Jie Zhang is the deputy general manager of Taicang Guofa Wenxin Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd.
He is responsible for the management of Guofa Wenxin’s investment operations. Currently, he is the investment committee member of Zhihui Science and Innovation Fund and Angel Investment Fund, focusing on intelligent manufacturing, new energy vehicles and other hard technology fields. His leading investment cases: Qingtao Development, Yiwei Technology, Lianshi Chemical, Pointstone Aviation, Huada Cloud Shadow and other projects, the comprehensive project investment annualized return of more than 80%.
Ping Shuai
She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at SILC Business School of Shanghai University, Director of the Entrepreneurship Education Center at SILC Business School of Shanghai University, Shanghai Entrepreneurship Mentor, and has served as a judge for a number of in-house companies such as the State Grid Entrepreneurship and a number of governmental departments’ entrepreneurship competitions, and as a faculty member for a number of organizations’ collaborative innovation and entrepreneurship, strategy, and change courses.
Shengyan Tao
Mr. Shengyan Tao is a director and head of M&A business of INVESTARGET. Mr. Tao has served as Vice President of Investment Banking Department of Daiwa Securities, Strategic Planning of Finance Department of Fortune 500 multinational enterprises, and backbone of the Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association Association. He is also an external mentor of Xijiao Liverpool University, a judge of the 2024 Global University Alumni Science and Innovation Competition, and a judge of the 3rd Shaanxi Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
He has nearly 10 years of capital market experience, mainly involved in private equity financing and M&A and reorganization transactions, and has helped more than 10 listed companies and multinational industrial groups to complete M&A and financing transactions, covering industrial, advanced manufacturing, new energy and new materials and other fields, with rich industrial resources.
He has a Master’s degree in Economics from Kobe University, and has studied at Koryo University in Korea on exchange.
