The Department of Intelligent Operations and Marketing actively pursues excellence in student learning and teaching, academic research and social impact.

We promote student-centred education by bridging the worlds of theory and practice on cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data.

The department has a strong team of academic staff and full-time PhD students, and regularly publishes in top international operations, information systems and marketing journals.

FACULTY SPOTLIGHT

Dr. Lixian Qian is a Senior Associate Professor in Marketing and Innovation at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). He is currently serving as the Associate Dean for Research at IBSS and is the founding director of Smart Mobility Analytics Center of IBSS.
