The School of Intelligent Finance and Business, one of the seven industry-themed schools in XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang), is dedicated to finance and business education. In a volatile, uncertain and complex world, the School seamlessly integrates specialised entrepreneurial industry and management programmes to educate and cultivate the next generation of high-end international industry experts, providing them with the competency to lead future industry development both domestically and internationally.
The school is developing and growing under the leadership of the founding dean, professor junsong chen. The academic disciplines of the school include supply chain, marketing, finance, fintech, economics, entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibilities, and more. The school currently offers a bsc intelligent supply chain with contemporary entrepreneurialism.
The School’s research is composed of four areas:
Marketing: digital/social media marketing; B2B marketing;
Supply chain management: supply chain of Industry 4.0; industrial internet;
Finance: FinTech and applied machine learning to model stock return and volatility;
Business sustainability: energy efficiency; carbon; recycling; business transformation to Industry 4.0; green finance.
Our academic staff’s research has appeared in the world’s leading academic journals, including international journal of research in marketing, european journal of marketing, journal of business research, psychology and marketing, international journal of production research, journal of banking and finance, international journal of production research, european journal of operational research, expert systems with applications, international business review, computers & industrial engineering, among others.
The School’s organisation consists of
(1) an Education, Research and Development Institute (ERDI) to support teaching, research and industry engagement,;
(2) a School Office to provide professional services to students, staff, industry partners, and beyond;
(3) an affiliated School Joint-Venture Company, Xiliqiyuan.
