Cao Yulong, Ph. D. and Senior Engineer in optical engineering, graduated from the school of Optoelectronics of Huazhong University of science and technology, and Ph.D. from Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I am mainly engaged in the research of optical fiber sensing technology and application. The main research topic is the application of distributed optical fiber sensing technology in railway industry.
In the early stage, I accumulated knowledge in the field of distributed optical fiber sensing technology, began to engage in railway field application research in 2015, and carried out product and system development as the technical leader in charge of the team. The main research directions are comprehensive safety monitoring system along the railway, distributed optical fiber monitoring system and perimeter intrusion monitoring system based on optical fiber detection.
During my tenure, I authorized 9 patents as the first inventor, authorized 6 patents as the second / third inventor in total, and 2 other patents. Pass the technical review of railway bureau level units for nine times, won the first prize three times. Developed distributed monitoring system, compound fence and other products to be applied to multiple high-speed rail lines.
