Dr. Zuguo Bao, received his Ph. D. majored in materials processing engineering in Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2015. In 2016 to 2020, he worked in Ford Motor Research & Engineering (Nanjing), mainly focused on R&D of plastics and polymer-based composites, and in cabin air quality control. In 2011 to 2014, he worked in Ford Research and Advanced Engineering Center in Dearborn (Michigan, US), focused on the interiors plastics and tire treads rubber. In 2020, Zuguo Joined in Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Advanced Materials as the research manager in material database for carbon fiber composite.
Research Interests: Integrated computational materials engineering (ICME) and material database of fiber composites Research and development of polymers and its composites for automotive applications Research and application of biobased composites In cabin VOC emission behavior and control technologies
研究领域包括复合材料集成计算材料工程与数据库开发，汽车高分子材料及复合材料产品开发及CAE分析，生物基复合材料的研究与应用拓展，汽车车内可挥发性污染物（VOC）散发性研究及控制技术开发等。工作期间主持福特研发项目7项，作为主要负责人参与数十项研究，曾获福特CTO嘉奖，福特亚太区贡献奖、福特技术成就奖（提名）。授权专利3项，第一作者发表论文4篇。
