Job Opportunities

The School of Internet of Things provides opportunities for students and applicants to participate in research, teaching support, laboratory development, AIoT+X projects, industry collaboration, and PhD study. This page provides an overview of common opportunity types and lists current openings when available.

 

Opportunity Type Description
Faculty Positions Academic Discipline: Computer science, Information science, Electronics, Artificial intelligence, Networking and Communication.
PhD Opportunities Supervisor-led or project-based PhD research opportunities in AIoT, IoT systems, cybersecurity, edge intelligence, sensing, networking, and related applications.
Research Assistantship (RA) Assist faculty members with research projects, including literature review, experiments, data analysis, prototype development, software/hardware testing, and paper or project preparation.
Teaching Assistantship (TA) Support teaching activities such as tutorials, laboratory sessions, grading, student consultation, and course preparation.
Lab / Project Assistant Support laboratory operations, equipment setup, AIoT+X Studio projects, demonstrations, documentation, testing, and student project activities.
Industry-linked Opportunities Participate in industry-sponsored projects, internships, joint laboratory activities, industrial challenges, and collaborative research with enterprise partners.

Module: IOT314TC –  Signal Processing for IoT

Module Description:

This module equips students with a comprehensive understanding of modern signal processing principles and techniques underpinning contemporary Internet of Things (IoT) systems. Students will explore digital signal processing algorithms, signal filtering, modulation and demodulation, resource-aware system design, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to signal processing for IoT.
