A bridge connecting faculty expertise, industry needs, doctoral training, and applied AIoT validation.
The Centre at a Glance
The Industry Collaborative Research Centre connects four research pillars into a single platform, enabling co-defined problems, co-funded projects, prototypes, and deployment validation.
Four foundational pillars feed into the Centre: faculty expertise, industry needs, doctoral training, and applied validation. Together they form the operational backbone of the School’s industry-facing research.
Platform Vision
The School of Internet of Things is building a long-term research platform oriented towards AIoT and the Internet of Intelligence. These platforms evolve from the School’s research clusters into larger structures that support applied research, industry collaboration, doctoral training, and large-scale cross-disciplinary projects.
Four Pillars of the Centre
Each pillar represents a key dimension of industry-academia collaboration. The Centre integrates these dimensions into a coherent platform that supports research, training, validation, and deployment.
Key Activities & Support
Through the Centre, the School promotes industry-sponsored research, TIX-PhD, company-sponsored PhD projects, joint laboratories, and applied AIoT platforms as the main instruments of industry-academia collaboration.
