The Language Lab in room FB459 is available class and language testing bookings and it is equipped with Sanako Study Software headphones and microphones for sophisticated language practices.
The Continuing Support Drop-in Centre for Year One students is based in FB344 and provides students with workshops on a wide range of topics that meet the learning objectives for Year One, as well as one-to-one consultations. The room is equipped with all the self-study software titles, a resource library for tutors, a large screen for movie nights and Club activities.
Centre for Undergraduate Workshops in Central Building (rooms 138E, 139E, 140E, 141E) is designed to accommodate a flexible learning style and to facilitate general seminar or workshop style activities. The topics covered in the workshops range from speaking clinics for specific degree programmes to IELTS/GRE preparation workshops, and from CV/personal statement writing and application help to grammar and references.
A brand-new Virtual Reality Language Learning Lab is located in FB 344 for innovative XR research and initiatives.
