Submissions are categorized into short films and short videos. Short films should not exceed 30 minutes in duration, while short videos should not exceed 3 minutes. Short videos support both horizontal and vertical screen formats.
Submission materials should be in MP4 or MOV format. Please ensure your video files conform to either of these formats for a smooth submission process.
Films are not limited by genre (experimental, drama, documentary, animation, MV, TV show, science fiction, etc.).
Except for silent films, all other films must include English subtitles. Multilingual works are encouraged, and all multilingual dialogues must be accompanied by standard and appropriate English subtitles.
Films that have been publicly screened in cinemas or on online platforms in China’s mainland or have plans for such screening before the film festival should indicate this information.
b. AI Works
Must be produced after January 1, 2024.

The creative process must involve the use of AI tools, with content generated by AI accounting for more than 50% of the total duration. This includes, but is not limited to, generative AI, and allows for editing and production of video shorts based on AI-generated content.
Submission materials should include a creative explanation document and a compressed file of the derived video. The document should be in doc or pdf format, and the video should be in MP4 or MOV format. The final compressed file should be in zip format. Please ensure your files conform to these format requirements for a smooth submission process.

Submission Instructions
Works must originate from individual creativity and must not infringe upon others’ copyrights or intellectual property rights. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification if discovered.
Works must not include watermarks, borders, stickers, dates, logos, etc.
Works must not contain any commercial advertisements.
Works must not involve pornographic, violent content, or contain racial, religious, or gender discrimination.
Works that do not comply with the above requirements will be considered as automatic withdrawal.
The copyright of the works belongs to the participants, and the organizers have the right to use the works for promotional purposes related to the competition.
